Happy Friday! The last Friday of 2017! WOW!! This year flew by in the blink of an eye. I think it has to do with motherhood, there’s always something to do or somewhere to be. 2017 has left many memories, especially with my son. So many things I did and other things I didn’t do. I wish I could stop time so that he can stay this age and not have to worry about life’s ups and downs. These last few months were a little hard for me.
As November came around, I was beginning to feel depressed because once again, I wasn’t able to achieve my goal of purchasing my first home. Now, I know that sometimes things don’t happen when we want them. But that doesn’t stop a human from feeling down. During 2016, I was so close to buying my first home, I even went into escrow and had completed all inspections, but in the end, the deal fell off. I said, ok, next year it will be. Obviously, it didn’t happen again. That’s ok though. I will continue to work hard until I am able to check off that goal.
I am welcoming 2o18 with open arms and trust in God that He will allow for things to fall into place when He knows the time is right. With so many disasters that occurred this year in which many lost everything including family, makes me feel grateful for everything I have. To be able to close 2017 with all of my family is enough. As cliche as it sounds, I am grateful for my job, the roof over my head, my family, my car. EVERYTHING.
I didn’t blog all of 2017, but one of my priorities is to be more consistent with this blog as it is something I enjoy doing. What goals have you set for yourself? Were you able to check off your goals for 2017? I hope 2018 is AMAZING! I wish you and your family, peace, love, prosperity, and health. BLESSINGS.
