I got the Disney annual pass to take advantage of the fact that Nathaniel still doesn’t have to pay for admission yet. One of my biggest concerns was whether he was actually going to enjoy the rides. I wish someone would have told me about the Top Disneyland Rides for Toddlers and Babies. The first time we went to Disneyland we got on some rides and Nathaniel got scared so I created this list for those mommies that will be taking their little ones for the first time. Dumbo the Flying Elephant: Your baby or toddler will feel as if they are flying. You get to feel on top of the world.
Buzz Lightyear: This is my son’s favorite ride. He gets to “shoot the bad guys” and there are no scary or dark parts.
It’s a Small World: This is my favorite ride. It’s such a smooth ride without any scary dark parts.
King Arthur Carrousel: Hopefully you or your little one won’t get dizzy. It’s a fun but short ride.
Casey Jr. Circus Train: My son loves the feeling of being inside the cage. The train passes through a small dark tunnel, but it’s not scary at all.
Storybook Land Canal Boats: This is considered a water ride, but you won’t get wet at all. It’s smooth and you get to experience all the Disney classic storybook setups.
Finding Nemo: If you are claustrophobic or are afraid of the dark, I would stay away from this ride. Other than that it’s very imaginative for the kiddos.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: This ride is slow, dark and some parts may scare little ones. Out of all the other rides in Fantasyland, this is the only ride in which Nathaniel didn’t cover his eyes. None of these Disneyland rides have age requirements making them perfect for babies and toddlers. Some of the rides at Fantasyland scared Nathaniel and even I was like WTH, lol. Hopefully, you find this list helpful. Let me know how your first Disneyland trip goes or if you have other recommendations.
