My sister-in-law and I decided to take our little men for the first time to Disneyland and California Aventure. I was scared that Nathaniel wasn’t going to behave, but he actually did very well. Our first stop was California Adventure. Nathaniel is in love with Disney CARS. Sadly the ride was closed that day – he didn’t get to see Lightning McQueen,😢 but he did get to see Mater and other CARS. After visiting Cars Land, we headed to Disneyland. The first ride we got on was Alice in Wonderland. Nathaniel loved it! My son is only two, and obviously, he couldn’t get on all the rides. We spent most of the time at Fantasyland.
I wish I would have taken more pictures, but with a toddler running around, it was hard. The decor is beyond beautiful and it really makes you feel as if you’re in a wonderland. A lot of friends recommended the food. If you will be visiting Disneyland for the first time, you have to try the churros and corn dogs. YUM! I know there were tons of other options, but those I wasn’t willing to make the line. I am so glad I was able to share this experience with my son especially around the holidays. It’s something I had always wanted to do. As a little girl, I always dreamed of visiting Disneyland and it was everything I imagined. Seeing my son’s reaction when he saw Mickey Mouse was priceless. I ended up leaving before the park closed because my son and nephew were tired. These type of outings can be tiring for kids, so I recommend you prepare well with snacks, blankets (during winter/fall), stroller, etc. It’ll help the day go by with more ease. What’s the best memory you have from when you visited Disneyland for the first time? What food stands/restaurants do you recommend?
