Whether it’s for a family vacation or a long day at work, I love arriving at my castle – to my home. I guess the saying “there is no place like home” is true. It’s a different sense of relaxation and I am sure you understand exactly what I’m talking about, right? But I have to admit that when my home has not been taken care of, it stresses me out. As much as I try, each day, to keep up with it, sometimes it’s difficult with a baby at home and no extra hands. That’s why when my baby naps, which is usually for an hour, I make sure to use the time to get some cleaning done around the house, especially in the kitchen. I am able to do this by using multi-use products from Pledge® that I purchase from Ralphs. Here’s how I do it.

I hate having dirty dishes, so I try to wash them as they are used. But at times when they accumulate, I quickly throw them in the dishwasher. After disinfecting the sink, I clean it with Pledge® Lemon Wipes. I love the versatility that they provide for different household chores. I clear all counters making sure to only leave necessary things out. I grab a piece of paper towel and remove all crumbs… this tends to happen a lot, especially around the toaster. I wipe down my laminate counters to remove any messes and accumulated dust with Pledge® Multi Surface Everyday Cleaner with Glade® Rainshower®.
To clean up my stainless steel appliances and remove smudges, I use the Pledge® Orange Clean Furniture Spray. It’s not only for wood surfaces but also for stainless steel surfaces/appliances. Within a few minutes my microwave, stove, dishwasher, toaster, and oven are spotless.
Finally, I sweep, and I’m pretty much done with the kitchen. I do this at least 2-3 days a week. It makes things easier when the day for deep cleaning comes. When I was younger, my father would always tell me that our home is a reflection of who we are. Now that I am an adult, I know that it’s true. Often times we forget the meaning that our home has. It’s where we build memories with our families that’s why it’s important to take care of every day. Thanks to Pledge®, I am able to do that.
