CHILL at the Queen Mary 2015 #qmCHILL

The holiday season is my favorite time of year. The lights, decorations, food and activities are all something I enjoy and now that I have my little family I want to enjoy every single moment of it. For the past three years I have vicissitude CHILL at the Queen Mary and it continues to be one of my favorite places to go to during the holidays.  So last Sunday, my family and I headed out to Long Beach last Sunday for an evening of holiday fun. As soon as we walked in we could feel the holiday spirit all around us — carolers and Christmas music in the background made it all perfect.

One of the reasons why I enjoy this event so much is for the Ice Kingdom. This year’s theme is Charles Dickens’ classic novel, A Christmas Carol. We enjoyed seeing Ebenezer Scrooge’s streets of London and landmarks such as Big Ben and London’s Tower Bridge. The kids, my honey’s nieces, enjoyed sliding down the giant ice slide. Make sure to bring warm clothes and gloves because it’s less than 10 degrees in there!

I wonder how long it takes me to make all those sculptures. Their work is admirable. Ice tubing is so much fun. I felt like a kid once again and the kids loved it. I will continue to visit CHILL each year because it’ fun for the kids and because it has become a family tradition. Last year, Nathaniel was still in my belly, but this year although he is only 5-months-old, I’m sure he got to enjoy the lights.
